Shared Decision-Making Committee (SDMC)

The Shared Decision-Making Committee (SDMC) has been established on our campus to assist the principal. The committee meets for the purposes of implementing planning processes and site-based decision-making in accordance with Board policy and administrative procedure.

All SDMC members were not present.

3 vacancies have been filled based on leveling in the district:

First grade- 2 teachers (Ms. D. Jackson and Mrs. R. Vitatoe). Ms. Jackson was transferred from Woodson.

Mrs. Vitatoe was transferred from Hartsfield. These teachers are from the South Division.

Counselor- 1 (Mrs. J. McDaniel); transferred from the West Division

The current enrollment is 210 students. Our campus was projected to have 205 students. This year, we

enrolled more PK 3 and 4 students- 44 students in PK 3 and PK 4.

The current attendance percentage is 94%. The goal is 98% for the year. Principal Mickens has an

attendance meeting that she will attend with South Division on October 14, 2025. Principal Mickens will

provide an update at the next SDMC meeting. The school counselor will serve as the leader of the

attendance committee so we can support families as needed.

The campus scored an average of 14.91 on IRT 1 which is Proficient II on the SPOT form. This is a 6.49

increase from the IRT 1 from 2024 – 2025. The campus trends were: Stamp the Learning; Engagement;

Use Student Answers; and Monitor and Adjust. The highest score was 16.5 and the lowest was 12.5.

Math: Zearn lesson completion (K-4th and 5th); and SPOT instruction average for math teachers

Science: SPOT instruction average for science teachers

Reading: SPOT instruction average for reading teachers

SPED: 90% on SPED folder audit

Growth: Ms. Prince; Achievement: Mrs. Thymes; Mindset: Coach Lee; and Excellence: Ms. Tiller
